Sign the letter to Minister mr. Moore

Dear Mr. Moore,

Deposits are the best way to combat (plastic) litter. This has been convincingly proven in 40 countries that have introduced deposits. A deposit law works best if it leaves as little room as possible to circumvent it with alternative packaging.

We ask you, Minister of the Environment Mr. Moore, to draft a future-proof deposit law to take effect 1st October 2025. A law that mandates a deposit on all plastic bottles and cans, and anticipates a requirement for a deposit on new types of litter-causing beverage containers.
